Oyeronke Oyebanji is a public health professional, currently working with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) as Policy and Partnerships Manager. Until November 2021, she was part of the COVAX Strategic Coordination Office, contributing to global efforts for equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines.
Oyeronke has over six years of experience supporting public health leadership in public and private health sectors, and leading projects. Between 2016 and 2020, she worked as Technical Assistant to the Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
In her role at NCDC, Oyeronke supported the development of various policies, strategies and projects. This includes the development of NCDC’s five-year strategy plan, review of the NCDC Act, management of partnerships with over 25 national and international partners, implementation of International Health Regulations projects and activities, and coordinated the development of NCDC’s Strengthening States for Health Security strategy.
Oyeronke is a Senior Fellow at the Aspen Institute and doctoral candidate at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
