Theresa Madubuko

Dr. Theresa Madubuko currently serves as the Chief of Staff at the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she oversee the operations of the Executive Office. She is an expert in public health programme management and health policy development, with a particular interest in health systems strengthening, human resources for health capacity development and infectious disease control. As a consultant, she has previously worked with Nigeria Centre for Disease Control; Technopolis Group, Baltics Estonia; and Médecin du Monde in Kenya and Tanzania.

An experienced trainer, she coordinated pre-service and in-service trainings for healthcare workers with the Centre for Clinical Care and Clinical Research in Nigeria and lectured extensively with the University of Liverpool ‘online’ Master of Public Health programme. She also worked as a public health physician with Dept. of Community Medicine, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Enugu, Nigeria.
