Marie Michele UMULISA is an experienced social scientist and researcher with an extensive experience of more than 20 years. She currently serves as Rinda Ubuzima Executive Director. She is also Health [e] Foundation’s Country Representative in Rwanda. She has played leading roles as either Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in research activities. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Clinical Trial Community Engagement Lab and a board member of RADEPT, an organization which aims to set up a system for diabetes care in Rwanda. She is an active member of different advocacy organizations that are advocating for HIV prevention research to end AIDS. She holds a B.A in sociology from Kigali Independent University and Master’s degree in Gender and Cultural Development from the University of Rwanda.
