Betty Kabarega

Betty Kabarega Ingabire is a Public health practitioner and a Certified Nutritionist with 5 years of experience in public health and Human nutrition. She currently works as a technical officer for Non-Communicable Diseases at Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC). Her expertise and career interest range from nutrition, and health systems strengthening as well as public health research. Betty’s recent research work was a ‘’randomized clinical study to assess the effect of Moringa Oleifera Lam infusion on biomedical markers of health relating to NCDs in Mauritius’. She also has been a lead practitioner for the development and implementation of Rwanda district plans towards eliminating malnutrition since 2015 through different programs at various organizations in Rwanda including the Scaling Up Nutrition Alliance Rwanda, Rwanda Development Organization, and the Clinton Health Access initiative.
