Known as the land of a thousand hills, Rwanda’s stunning scenery and warm, friendly people offer unique experiences in one of the most remarkable countries in the world. It is blessed with extraordinary biodiversity, with incredible wildlife living throughout its volcanoes, montane rainforest and sweeping plains.
Rwanda is honored to be among the latest top destinations to receive the world’s first-ever global safety and hygiene stamp, launched recently by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Rwanda has adopted the global standardized health and hygiene protocols that were devised based on the experience of WTTC members dealing with COVID19, guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Rwanda is proud to adopt these global standards that re-establish traveler confidence. The country’s number one priority remains the health and well-being of visitors.
Rwanda boasts a deep history and heritage, while remaining committed to the idea of progress, starting at the grass roots and running all the way to the top. From the ancient kingdom to the modern day, creativity is something to be celebrated, whether through traditional dance, unique architecture, works of art or innovation in science and business.
In fact, Rwanda is ranked as the second easiest place to do business in Africa by the World Bank and has been awarded for its leadership in tourism and economic competitiveness by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) and the World Economic Forum respectively.
